Four handy tools are put at your disposal for free by Emsisoft Emergency Kit. The aforementioned tools do not have to be installed, which makes it easy for you to take them with you when you have to go fix a compromised PC. Speaking about compromised PCs, that’s what the tools are for. They are security tools offered by Emsisoft to anyone who wants to remove malware from infected PCs.

To get started with Emsisoft Emergency Kit, you will have to download a 232MB archive. Even on a high-speed internet connection, it may take a bit of time for the download to complete. Extract the contents of the archive, run the start.exe file and you will be presented with a handy interface that lists all the tools included in the emergency kit.

The four tools Emsisoft Emergency Kit puts at your disposal are as follows:
Emergency Kit Scanner – a dual-engine scanner will analyze your computer, uncover malware, and remove it. You can choose between a Quick, Smart, Deep, and Custom Scan.
Commandline Scanner – you get the same malware removing functionality as above, but via the command line, not a graphical user interface.
HiJackFree – this is an advanced system analysis tool meant to help you remove malware manually.
BlitzBlank – meant for advanced users, this tool disables drivers, removes locked files, and destroys Registry entries. It does this before the Windows operating system and all your other programs are loaded.

As mentioned above, Emsisoft Emergency Kit is a free application. You do not have to part with any of your money to enjoy the functionality provided by the tools included in this kit.

There's much to like about Emsisoft Emergency Kit: it is free, it is made up of four powerful tools, said tools don’t have to be installed, and they will help you remove malware from an infected machine.
